25th SPORTS FILM FESTIVAL
Sportfilm Liberec is dedicated to films about sports and is located in a magic city of LIberec in northern Czech Republic. It is the 25th time the City of Liberec will host to the international sports film festival this year and it will be held at an iconic cinema Varšava and at Technical university. During whole jubilee year Sportfilm organize exhibiotions, film premieres, conferences, sport events, music festival and gala awards ceremony. In 2019, Czech Television co-production film The Golden Sting was awarded a prestigious prize Guirlande d’Honneur and in 2021, film Mr. Kriss was awarded Mention d´Honneur by the jury of Milan Final. The guarantor of this festival series is the Federation Internationale Cinema Television Sportifs (FICTS) joining 130 countries under the auspices of the International Olympic Committee.
